Plastic Surgery

Cosmetic Surgery, Liposuction and the FAMI Procedure (Facial Autograft Muscle Injection) brings immediate restoration and rejuvenation, with down-time of 1 to 2 weeks and longer lasting results of 4 to 9 years, depending on the technique.

Facial Autograft Muscle Injection (FAMI)

Allows you a more youthful and refreshed look without the incisions and cutting required for face-lifts. The Autograft method utilizes fat specially processed for increased stem cell volume from your thigh or love-handle area and is injected into the areas of degeneration in the face, which gives a permanent youthful result.

Arctic Peel and MicroLaserPeel®

Get immediate results with a down-time of 1 to 5 days and the depth of peel precisely adjusted by the newest Sciton® Laser System. This computer system maximizes effect and minimizes your down-time. The laser also removes skin lesions, unwanted hair and veins of the face, leg and other body surfaces.

Mini Face-lift

A mini face-lift is the most common type of face-lift surgery performed today. Using small incisions, we can remove wrinkles and sagging skin. Strong supporting tissues of the face are tightened to give a more youthful definition to the face and a longer lasting result.

Microcanula Liposuction

Dr. Earl Golightly has learned the Microcanula Liposuction technique and performs it under local anesthesia in our office. The Microcanula technique is safer, and associated with less bruising and swelling than traditional liposuction techniques.

Less bleeding, scarring, local instead of general anesthesia.

Dermatologic Surgery

The expert staff at Golightly Plastic Surgery Center can help you evaluate and manage dermatological conditions of the head and neck area. From skin cancer and cysts to vascular lesions and shaved biopsy, we are able to remove or repair skin and skin conditions for medical or cosmetic purposes in our office operating room.

Injectable Fillers

Immediately restore youthful volume to facial grooves with injectable fillers. You’ll get a youthful transformation lasting 4 to 12 months with no down-time.

Cosmeceuticals provide a basis for your treatments to have a long-lasting effect by preferentially providing the nutrients needed to heal damaged outer skin layers and facilitate rejuvenation.

Microdermabrasion removes sun damaged outer skin layers, lessens fine wrinkles and helps with pigment changes. This treatment also allows your cosmeceuticals to better penetrate and nourish deeper skin layers for a more rapid repair with no down-time.

Intense pulsed light therapy removes unwanted spots, vessels, hair and damage in the skin to facilitate rejuvenation with no down-time. It can also treat acne rosacea, spider veins and lessen fine wrinkles.

Skin Peels

Whether superficial or deep, peels rejuvenate by removal of damaged skin layers stimulating healing inherent in the skin.

Rhinoplasty

If you’re unhappy with the way your nose is shaped, Dr. Golightly can surgically enhance the shape of your nose to your desired result.

Sinus Surgery

About 90% of our patients respond to medical therapy and don't require surgery. In fact, if it’s found that you do need surgery, most of these are out-patient surgeries and are not expected to cause external bruising or swelling.

Sinus surgery techniques have been refined so that we no longer need to pack the sinuses. Patients are able to breathe better in the recovery room because recovery time has been lessened by the newer surgical techniques. Find relief from chronic sinus issues or sinus diseases with our minimally invasive surgeries.

Balloon Sinuplasty

We utilize XprESS® ENT Dilation Systems to restore sinus functions. By inserting a small balloon, we stretch the natural opening of the sinuses, this restores the drainage through the natural opening. This system has been proven to be a comfortable, minimally invasive technique.

Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

We are able to surgically treat your sinusitis and nasal polyps to restore drainage. If these problems, commonly bacterial or fungal, don't respond to medication or are chronic issues, this surgery can help.

Septoplasty

An incision is made inside the nose and the deviated portions are removed; then tissues are sewn together with dissolvable sutures so that nasal packing is not needed. There is no bruising and you're breathing better instantly while in the recovery room.

Turbinectomy

This procedure is performed using a small device that reduces the turbinate tissues with minimal bleeding and a consistent improvement in breathing.

Nasal Polypectomy

A small device is used to delicately remove polyps more precisely leading to minimal bleeding and quicker recovery time.

Allergy Testing

An allergy is an overreaction in the body to things that we normally encounter daily. Things like grass, weeds, pollen, etc. Allergy treatment restores a natural reaction to these substances when they come in contact with our bodies.

Through bloodwork or skin testing, we are able to test for a wide variety of allergies, including weeds, grasses, molds, dust, animals and food. We safely administer the tests and return your results quickly. If it is determined that you have an allergy, we recommend a course of action to restore your health.

Chemical Sensitivity Testing

Some people are affected by commonly used chemicals. The symptoms are generally vague, including fatigue, headaches, nausea and inflammation of the skin. If you chronically suffer from these issues, contact Golightly Plastic Surgery Center. We can help you determine if chemical sensitivity is the cause as well as what you may be sensitive to.

Seasonal Sniffles: 5 Tips to Make It Through Fall with Allergies

With the change of season, you’ll soon be sneezing and congested; with red, itchy and watery eyes. Ragweed is probably the biggest problem that you face during the fall, and it will cause all of the aforementioned symptoms if you are allergic (and an estimated 23 million Americans are).

Luckily, there are several different things that you can do to help reduce your symptoms throughout the season so that you won’t suffer as much. Here are five tips to help you make it through.

Tip #1: Wash Your Hands Often

For the sake of everyone in the household, it is important that you are washing your hands frequently during allergy season. This will help remove allergens from your skin and prevent them from spreading. This will also help to reduce the risk of illnesses like the flu.

Tip #2: Change Your Clothes When You Get Home

When you arrive home from school or work or come in from working outside, make sure to change your clothes. Your clothes will have picked up a variety of allergens, including ragweed, and you don't want to spread them around your home. So, the first thing you will want to do is to change out of your allergen-covered clothes and into a fresh set.

Tip #3: Shower Before Bed

In addition to just washing hands frequently and changing clothes when you get home, it’s a good idea to shower just before going to bed at night. This will ensure that you don't take any allergens to your bed sheets and pillows where you will be sleeping all night. Otherwise, you may wake up in the morning already sneezing and blowing your nose.

Tip #4: Keep Windows Closed

Usually, when the weather is nice, you want to turn off the air conditioners and open up the windows. This both cuts down on your energy bill and allows some fresh air inside the house. However, if you suffer from allergies, then this is the worst thing that you can do because it will allow all of that ragweed pollen and other allergens to come right inside.

So, throughout the season, especially on high pollen count days, keep those windows closed. The same is true for your car windows when you are driving.

Tip #5: Buy a Dehumidifier

If the air in your home seems to be humid, then your allergies are going to be worse than usual. This is particularly true if you are sensitive to mold or dust.

A dehumidifier will help to reduce the overall moisture in the air, which will thereby inhibit the growth of mold in your home. Essentially, it will help to maintain a 45 to 50 percent humidity level. In addition, a dehumidifier will help eradicate dust mites from your home.

With these types of benefits, you may want to consider purchasing and using a dehumidifier in the home during the fall to help reduce your allergy symptoms.

When you just can't seem to beat your allergies and they're getting the best of you, contact Golightly Plastic Surgery Center to schedule an appointment with Dr. Earl Golightly. With a physician’s help, you really can find relief from your allergy symptoms!
